Couples therapy at Stillwater Cove is designed for partners who want to strengthen their relationship by slowing things down, communicating more clearly, and understanding each other more deeply.
This work is less about managing conflict in the moment and more about examining the patterns that keep showing up between you. Together, we focus on insight, accountability, and practical shifts that support healthier ways of relating.
Sessions are structured and supportive, offering space for both partners to be heard while keeping the work grounded and forward-moving.

Couples therapy may be a good fit if you’re looking to:
Improve communication and emotional understanding
Address recurring patterns or points of disconnection
Navigate transitions or changes within the relationship
Strengthen trust, clarity, and intentional connection
Couples therapy in my practice is best suited for relatively stable partnerships where both people are motivated, respectful, and able to engage productively in the process.
I do not offer couples therapy for high-conflict, crisis-driven, or emotionally unsafe relationships.
All couples sessions are currently offered virtually for couples located in Illinois.
