Insurance & Payment
I work with a professional medical billing service that handles insurance claims and payment processing on my behalf. A Business Associate Agreement (BAA) is in place to ensure HIPAA compliance and protect your information.
Insurance plans vary widely, so clients are encouraged to contact their insurance provider directly to understand their benefits, including copay, coinsurance, deductible, session limits, and out-of-pocket costs.
The billing team manages claims and assists with billing-related questions once services have begun. I do not verify insurance benefits or provide cost estimates.
As a courtesy, the billing team may provide an estimate of your insurance benefits prior to starting services. This estimate is based on information provided by your insurance company but is not a guarantee of coverage or cost. You are responsible for any charges not covered by your plan.

Accepted Insurance Plans
The following insurance plans are currently accepted:
Aetna
Anthem
Blue Cross Blue Shield
Optum
Oxford
UnitedHealthcare
United Medical Resources (UMR)
If your insurance is not listed above, you may still have out-of-network benefits. In this case, sessions are paid for upfront, and your insurance company may reimburse you for a portion of the cost based on your plan.
Self-pay options are available.
HMO plans are not accepted at this time. If you carry an HMO plan, your insurance provider can help you find in-network options.

Clients using insurance are responsible for their applicable copay, coinsurance, or deductible, as determined by their insurance plan. Insurance reimbursement rates vary by carrier and are not the same as private pay rates.
I do not set or control insurance reimbursement amounts, and I am unable to estimate insurance costs on your behalf.
